"Gentleman's Shiv"
This blade is a nice carry size at just 8" long with a 3.75" blade and 4.25" handle. The blade has the feel that it just wants to "gut something" but of course, as you can see has the very refined lines of a gentleman's knife. Blade is a tight W1 and 15n20 ladder pattern with stabilized black palm scales just slightly underset with mosaic pins. Comes with a leather lined kydex sheath.

Up for sale are two sets of menuki from my personal collection. Both sets are superb examples of fine craftmanship and both are in mint condition. The yanone set is done in shakudo and is signed by the maker on the nakago of the arrowheads. The pine cone set is in shakudo with gold highlights and is unsigned. I am asking $650 per set or $1100 for both.

Yoridoshi (armor piercer) tanto. This blade was hand forged then heat treated and finally given a high class polish. The hamon is an active choji midare while the hada consists of ko-itame. The style is made to be THICK so it can withstand great abuse. The picture of the the two mune shows the yoridoshi (right) compared to a standard width wakizashi.

Silver wari-kogai
The uses of kogai are debated, but it is popularly believed that they were used to arrange the intricate hair styles of the samurai. This style is seen less frequently and were used as chopsticks. Silver chopsticks were considered to be safer to eat with because if the food was poisoned the silver would tarnish instantly and warn the eater of danger! 28.18" shinogi zukuri soshu style katana
This blade is forged from 1075 with a midare/ notare mix hamon in nio deki and very prominent ashi activity. The blade itself has a high shinogi giving it a more diamond shaped cross section and very lively feel. The blade is fully polished with copper habaki and shirasaya.
