Japanese Sword Gallery
These blades are examples of some of my previous works which have already sold or were made per commission. This gallery is just to show off some of my work and give customers an idea of designs that can be achieved.

This blade is my take on a contemporary tactical katana. The blade is forged from 1075 and through hardened with a hitatsura hamon. The saya is a standard wood core wrapped in carbon fiber with a hardened epoxy resin finish. Browned steel fuchi and kashira were done by Patrick Hastings with silver cicada menuki and a damascus tsuba done by myself.

This blade was a special custom collaboration between myself and Patrick Hastings for a customer. The blade was completely traditionally made in hon san mei construction using traditional tamahagane, and following soshu den characteristics. The fittings are all in iron and silver with a pebble and Kyudo (Japanese archery) theme. The lacquer is a special red and black pebbling technique that gives a very slight surface texture.
